Voter fraud allegations in Washington state shut down by AG Ferguson
On June 1st 2022, Washington state Attorney General Bob Ferguson declined to charge filings put forth by the Washington Election Integrity Coalition United (WEICU) on 8 Washington state county auditors. The filings allege the county auditors allowed the use of new, unapproved electronic voting machines. The filings also point out several inconsistencies in vote numbers. Ferguson awarded the Governor of Washington, Jay Inslee, over $28,000. Ferguson also contacted the Washington State Bar Association with the intent of having them punish WEICU’s lawyer Virginia Shogren for bringing the allegedly frivolous suit.
In 2021 the WEICU filed voter fraud complaints in Clark County, Franklin County, Lincoln County, King County, Pierce County, Snohomish County, Thurston County, and Whatcom County.
The specific complaints were
uncertified voting systems used by the county Auditors
suspicious voting patterns were observed in conjunction with several submitted whistleblower affidavits
Uncertified voting systems
Per federal and state law, all electronic voting systems must be certified by a U.S. Election Assistance Commission (EAC) accredited Voting System Test Labs (VSTLs). The filings allege that the new electronic voting systems were not certified by an accredited VSTL, and therefore the results calculated from the systems are inadmissible as official votes.
This is a list of the voting systems used by every county in Washington. Clark and Lincoln counties use Hart Intercivic voting system, while the other counties listed use Clear Ballot voting system. I noted at this point that it was odd that WEICU only listed 8 counties as using illegitimate voting systems, while most other counties were also using these voting systems. I will come back to this.
I was able to find a list of certified electronic voting systems here. Several versions of Clear Ballot and Hart Intercivic are listed as certified. However, not all versions are certified. Unfortunately I was not able to find which versions of Clear Ballot and Hart Intercivic were being used in each county, so I am not able to definitively say whether the versions used in each county were or were not certified. To my point above- it is possible that the other counties not listed were also using Clear Ballot and Hart Intercivic systems; but the certified versions.
An unidentified whistleblower alleged that Microsoft’s Security Patch was installed during an active election.
I was unable to find any certification or review of this technology before it was implemented. Microsoft’s website goes on in great detail about their plans to help prevent voter fraud through implementing their technologies in federal and state elections with their new program “Defending Democracy”. This is apparently happening on Microsoft’s cloud platform Azure. You can see my look into Azure’s involvement with local law enforcement here.
Suspicious voting patterns
Dr. Douglas Frank assisted the WEICU with an investigation comparing census numbers to voting numbers. In layman’s terms, Dr. Frank worked off the theory that inflated census numbers could be used to insert fake ballots into an election.
Dr. Frank put together a number of graphs to measure the correlation of several variables. I will use the Pierce county data graph for this article.
As you can see the R variable is a 1, which means the predicted ballots based upon registrations was almost exact. Dr. Frank alleges that this result is “unnaturally exact”. He says that an expected coefficient gathered naturally would be around 0.75.
Dr. Frank points to very large numbers of inactive voters during the 2020 elections. Here are the final numbers for the 2020 federal and state election
Using the number 206,000- if every one of these votes was used illegitimately, Trump still would have lost to Biden by a fairly large margin. However using the number of 185,000 for inactive voters in general elections, the Governor’s race margins become slim. Inslee would come in with 2,108,775 while Culp would come in with 1,934,534. This puts the percentages at 52.1 % for Inslee and 47.8% for Culp.
WEICU’s Pierce county filing alleges that approximately 6,000 votes were flipped, and over 400,000 votes were added or removed.
In the end, I would like to hear from attorney general Ferguson specifically why he found the lawsuits to be frivolous. Given the vast findings recently of voter fraud around the country due to whistleblower information, I find it (at the very least) odd that this did not seem to be addressed more seriously. I do not like Microsoft’s involvement in the election. I believe there should be more transparency in who the parent companies of these electronic voting systems are. This is a problem that has been brought up time and time and time again, but never actually dealt with. Most of all, I find it entirely inappropriate and downright vengeful for Ferguson to have reported Shogren to the Washington State Bar Association. The goal of an attorney general should not be to shut down questions raised about issues that could have huge consequences.
